Whiskey Moth by A.M. Wegelin

I worked with author A.M. Wegelin on their novella. This was such an enlightening experience because we were able to work within this fictional narrative that accurately represents the thoughts and actions of many young people who experience trauma and mental illness. I line edited and copy edited the manuscript draft as well as proofread the design draft.

I worked directly with author Jes Pan from early unfinished draft through publication, including being instrumental in developing key plot points with the author. Developmental edited, line edited, copy edited, and proofread all drafts and design stages to final published draft.

The Many Pieces of Me by Nancy Robles

I have been working with the incredible activist Nancy Robles on this combination memoir/self-help book, which tells the story of the incredible struggles and trauma she has been through in her life, and how going to therapy and learning to heal from everything she went through helped her become the amazing person she is today—and how you can benefit and succeed by working through your trauma in therapy too.

Content Editing & Designing

I worked with a small team of other NYU Master of Science in Publishing: Digital and Print Media students to create, develop, design, and edit an online edition of Dovetail, the art and literary magazine of NYU’s School of Professional Studies. We worked as a team to develop the edition from start to finish as well as working with the authors on individual pieces.
